Nas - Stillmatic Limited Edition (2001)

One of the handful of albums that got a 5 Mic rating from The Source, Stillmatic was highly anticipated and was his 'comeback' joint. Fuck, I remember the tracks one-by-one leaking on Audiogalaxy and SOHH, and the Hot97 Jay-Z VS Nas vote. Anyway, great album, although a tad overrated.

Street Platoon-The Steel Storm (2001)

Sort of a Psycho Realm side project, this was the first official project to come out after Big Duke's shooting. Looking back, I kind of wonder how in the hell we even tracked this record down, because our access to the internet was somewhat limited and this shit wasn't exactly at most music stores. Somebody must have had Napster or Audiogalaxy (remember that shit?)

1. Downtown Daze
2. Dead Lines
3. Mean Streets
4. Drug Lab
5. Sick Of It All
6. Pink
7. Great Downfall

This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb - Front Seat Solidarity (2001)

Jangly, amateur folk-punk with politically charged screamed vocals and crappy production. What else do you need? Ever wonder what those white train hopping kids you see time to time hum as they pet their flea-ridden dog? This would it.
